The goal and mission of the Advanced Clinical Nutrition Training are to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of advanced nutritional management for a wide range of clinical conditions. This training is designed to enhance participants' ability to deliver individualized, evidence-based nutritional care by integrating advanced concepts and practical applications. Our mission is to equip healthcare professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to optimize nutritional management for patients with complex medical conditions, thereby improving patient outcomes through tailored nutrition strategies and effective use of specialized nutrition support.

Throughout the Advanced Clinical Nutrition Training Program, various assessment techniques are employed to evaluate participants' understanding and proficiency in nutritional support and management. These techniques include:
Pre-Test: o Before the training begins, participants undergo a pre-test to assess their baseline knowledge of nutritional pharmacy concepts. This initial assessment helps tailor the course content to address specific learning needs.
Progress Assessment Online Tests: o Participants engage in daily online tests to reinforce learning and assess comprehension of the material covered each day. These tests consist of multiple-choice questions, quizzes, or short-answer exercises designed to evaluate understanding of daily topics and concepts.
Post-Test: o At the conclusion of the training, participants complete a comprehensive post-test covering all modules and topics discussed during the training period. This final assessment provides a comprehensive evaluation of participants' knowledge and skills in nutritional pharmacy.
Case Study Questions: o Participants are presented with case study questions simulating real-world scenarios related to nutritional support. These case studies challenge participants to apply their knowledge to practical situations, analyze clinical data, and develop appropriate nutritional management plans.
Self-Paced Learning Tests on the LMS: o The Learning Management System (LMS) hosts self-paced learning tests that participants can access at their convenience. These tests allow participants to review course material, reinforce key concepts, and assess their understanding through interactive quizzes and exercises.
To qualify for a certificate of participation, candidates must achieve a minimum passing score of 80% or above on the post-test administered at the end of the training.
This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other individuals interested in nutritional support.
• A total of 20 hrs of synchronous or live, online training by top instructors and practitioners
• 20 hrs of online self-paced learning
• Pre/post-test (1 hr each)
• Written assignment (4 hours)
To obtain CPD or CME Credit, complete the post-tests with an 80% pass rate. Complete the evaluation survey on-line and submit. A certificate will be mailed within a week of course completion date to the E-mail address provided at the time of registration.

The module covers evidence-based approaches to weight loss, including dietary interventions, physical activity, and behavioral therapies, as well as medical and surgical options for managing obesity. Special emphasis is placed on developing personalized treatment plans and understanding the long-term management of obesity to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

1. Explain the underlying causes of obesity, including genetic, environmental, and behavioral factors, and their impact on treatment and management.
2. Develop and implement evidence-based dietary interventions to support weight loss and manage obesity effectively.
3. Integrate physical activity and behavioral modification strategies into obesity management plans to enhance patient adherence and success.
4. Evaluate and recommend appropriate medical and surgical treatment options for obesity, considering individual patient needs and treatment goals.
5. Design long-term management strategies to sustain weight loss, prevent relapse, and support ongoing patient health and well-being.
6. Apply case studies and clinical scenarios to practice developing personalized obesity management plans and addressing complex patient cases.
This module explores the intricate relationship between nutrition and cardiovascular health, focusing on how proper dietary management can prevent and mitigate the effects of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). It also delves into the nutritional considerations for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and the impact of Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) on micronutrient, electrolyte, and medication management. By integrating clinical insights with practical dietary strategies, this module aims to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge required to optimize patient care in these complex conditions.
By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the pathophysiology of cardiovascular diseases and the role of nutrition in reducing cardiovascular risk and improving patient outcomes.
2. Identify the nutritional needs of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease and develop appropriate dietary interventions to manage the condition.
3. Analyze the challenges of micronutrient, electrolyte, and medication management in patients undergoing Renal Replacement Therapy and recommend strategies for optimizing nutrition in these patients.
4. Integrate nutritional principles into the comprehensive management of cardiovascular and renal diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
5. Evaluate case studies to apply the knowledge gained in real-world clinical scenarios, improving patient outcomes through individualized nutritional care.
